Leif Helth Jensen (Chairman)
Investment Manager, CAT Science Park. Leif Helth Jensen has more than 25 years of experience within the life science industry.
He has been the CEO of two Biotech companies (Cureon and Glycom), on the Board of Directors in 6 Biotech companies (Genmab, Zealand Pharma, Cureon, Exiqon, Meditel and Promogenetics) and been the co-founder of 3 Biotech companies (NeuroSearch, Zealand Pharma and Cureon).
He has previously held other positions such as Director of Pharmacology at NeuroSearch, CEO of Danske Life Science and VicePresident Portfolio Management at LifeCycle Pharma. He is currently on the Board of Director in Dentofit and the Chairman of the Board in Valderm. He has a M.Sc. in Biology from the University of Copenhagen.
Carsten Faltum
Carsten Faltum began his career in 1994, where he joined FMC BioProducts as Production Manager. In the following 6 years he worked for various American companies as responsible for development, manufacturing and sale of specialty chemicals and components for the pharmaceutical industry and laboratory research. In 2000 he joined NKT, as Senior Business Developer, where he worked with business development in the life science area, and was responsible for some of NKT's start-up companies, typically as CEO for the companies. In 2006 he joined Coloplast A/S as Director, R&D Woundcare.
Carsten Faltum is member of the board of Microlytic ApS, Dermatech ApS and S.E.K. A/S. Carsten Faltum obtained a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 1994, and a Bachelor in Manufacturing and Management from Odense University College in 1991.
Jack Johansen, PhD
Dr.
Johansen works as an
executive consultant to various life science/venture capital companies. Prior
to this, Dr. Johansen has been CEO and Founder of Boston Probes, Inc.,
Chairman, CEO and Founder of Boston Biosystems Inc., Chairman at Glyco Inc.,
Executive Vice President of science and technology at Millipore Corporation and
President of Millicorp, which is Millipore’s venture fund.
Dr. Johansen is
Chairman of the Board of Directors at AdvanDx Inc. and serves on the Board of Directors of 7TM A/S and Symphogen A/S.

Morten Sommer, PhD
Morten Sommer has been working on microfluidic devices for protein crystallization over the past 5 years at California Institute for Technology, University of Copenhagen and Harvard University. He is the inventor on several patents and author of scientific papers within the fields of microfluidics and protein crystallization.
Morten Sommer has received various scientific awards including the Young Researcher Price from the Hartmann Foundation and the Scholar Stipend from the Carlsberg Foundation.
Prior to founding Microlytic he was the co-founder of the Danish biotech company Formbion. Morten Sommer holds a M.Sc. in Physics and Biophysics from the University of Copenhagen and a PhD in Biophysics from Harvard University.
Henrik Rasmussen, PhD
Henrik N. Rasmussen began his career in 1994, where he joined Foss Electric as development chemist. In the following 5 years, he worked in research and development, after which he was employed as a business development manager at Nunc A/S. In 2001 he was employed as R&D Director of Nunc A/S, and in 2004 as sales director of VersaMatrix A/S. In August 2006. He joined NNIT A/S as Business Development Director.
Henrik N. Rasmussen is member the board of Microlytic ApS.
Henrik N. Rasmussen obtained a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of
Denmark in 1991, a Ph.D. in 1994 from the Royal & Veterinarian University of Denmark and a business degree (HD) from Copenhagen Business School in 2000.
