Stig Løkke Pedersen , M.Sc. (Chairman)

Stig Løkke Pedersen holds a Masters in Economy from Aalborg University and currently serves as the chairman of the Board for the 4 biotech and life science tools companies in Europe and North America. For 20 years Stig served as an executive in the Danish pharmaceutical company H. Lundbeck A/S, most recently as Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations.  Stig also is a partner in Executive Capital and an advisor to the Lundbeck Foundation, JSB partners and Atrium partners. 


Leif Helth Jensen

Investment Manager, CAT Science Park. Leif Helth Jensen has more than 25 years of experience within the life science industry.
He has been the CEO of two Biotech companies (Cureon and Glycom), on the Board of Directors in 6 Biotech companies (Genmab, Zealand Pharma, Cureon, Exiqon, Meditel and Promogenetics) and been the co-founder of 3 Biotech companies (NeuroSearch, Zealand Pharma and Cureon).
 
He has previously held other positions such as Director of Pharmacology at NeuroSearch, CEO of Danske Life Science and VicePresident Portfolio Management at LifeCycle Pharma. He is currently on the Board of Director in Dentofit and the Chairman of the Board in Valderm. He has a M.Sc. in Biology from the University of Copenhagen.


Morten Sommer, PhD

Morten Sommer has been working on microfluidic devices for protein crystallization over the past decade at California Institute for Technology, University of Copenhagen, Harvard University, Technical University of Denmark and Microlytic.  He is the inventor on several patents and author of scientific papers within the field of microfluidics and protein crystallization.

Morten Sommer is a Professor of Systems Biology at the Technical University of Denmark and has received various scientific awards, including the Young researcher Peize from the Hartmann Foundation and the lb Henriksen foundation Award for Scientific Excellence.

Morten Sommer is a Director at HEED diagnostics and holds a M.Sc. in Physics and Biophysics from the University of Copenhagen and a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Harvard University.


Jack Johansen, PhD

Dr. Johansen works as an executive consultant to various life science and venture capital companies.

Prior to this, Dr. Johansen has been CEO and Founder of Boston Probes, Inc., Chairman, CEO and Founder of Boston Biosystems Inc., Chairman at Glyco Inc., AdvanDx Inc, 7TM A/S. and Symphogen A/S. He also served as the Executive VIce President of science and technology at Millipore Corporation and President of Millicorp, which is Millipore's venture fund.

Dr. Johansen obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Copenhagen and has conducted research within the protein sciences at Harvard Medical School, University of Copenhagen and Carlsberg Research Laboratories.


Jesper Roested, M.Sc.

Jesper Roested is an Investment Director at Vaekstfonden. Previously he has been CEO of 3D, Danish Diagnostic Development A/S and Orbotech Medical Denmark, VP Business Development at MC2 Biotek Aps. Several positions in business development and device development at Novo Nordisk A/S as well as management consultant at McKinsey & Co. Mr. Roested holds a B.Sc.EE, an M.Sc. Medical Electronics & Physics from University of London and a McKinsey Mini MBA.

Mr. Roested serves on the board of a number of life science companies.
