LYTAG Two-Phase Protein Purification

LYTAG is a new generation of products designed for recombinant expression and purification of proteins in E. coli. Two-phase purification is based on the use of two aqueous components. The sysems employs a 136 a.a. cersion of the affinity chromatography purification tag C-LYTAG, which is based on the selectiv interaction of the choline binding domains of the Streptococcus pneumoniae N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanine amidase, LytA, with choline or choline analogues.
